Linguini is something that I love, and it had taken around fifteen minutes to get softened actually. As we speak, let us quickly start the process of cooking it. Boil as much as you need from the package itself and pour it into a hot boiling pan of water. Please add about one and a half teaspoons of salt to the linguini and adjust the amount of salt as per your choice. For approximately one whole handful of linguini take around four cups of water and that should do. Once it is nicely soft let it cool down under running water and for the boiling process to stop. Once it has boiled through, keep it on the side.
Next up, slice a little sliver of bell pepper, chop up a garlic really thin, a small tomato as well. Once done, also add a little sprig of coriander chopped quite thin to add that extra bit of color. Keep a little amount of garam masala on the side for that extra kick. The last couple of ingredients can always go at the end a the time of garnishing and that gives that extra zing and character to the dish. If required, tip in a little bit of salt right at the end. Leave all this on the countertop for use.
Now in the same pan that we used for boiling linguini, pour about two tablespoons of olive oil and let it warm up in the pan. Eventually, add in the ingredients in the order that I mentioned. Slowly stir them all with ease for a couple of minutes. Now let it all sit together for a minute. Add in the linguini now. Mix them and let them come together as a whole. At this time, tip in the rest of the ingredients and add a little dash of olive oil and turn off the gas after one final stirring up of everything with your needed spatula.
Last but never the least plate it up and give your kids a good healthy dinner choice or even a snack if they are hungry. Infact, I often give them this without thinking twice.
